A somewhat fictional poem of the mayor of Hiroshima Setsuo Yamada. As a promoter of peace, whenever a country’s government tested nuclear weapons, he would on behalf of his people plead for them to refrain from the senseless tests.

Thinking of my dad…

A little boy in a mall was startled by a stuffed Teddy Bear, but as a girl drew close to his side he realized that it was unreal. He bent over and kissed her on the chin which caused her head to spin.
