A poem about the feelings of long distance relationships.

The long distance love poem below is about encouraging each other to pull through. When you are apart from each other, it can be hard to make it through on your own. So, you do need to reassure one another that the love will always be there and distance won’t make the love go away.

I made this poem after my boyfriend and I broke up after he got back from training for the national guard. Shortly after he got back he got deployed and I really missed him and wanted to get back together. I wrote this wondering if he felt the same way.

It’s all I have.

Just thinking about my beautiful girl, I just lover her so much, but the time away from her is painful. When I next see her it will be the most joyful reunion.
