A broken heart provides a wealth of motivation to write poems which express deep down feelings which burn within. Writing them down, makes it easier to carry the burden and offers some form of relief.

This is a memory of a lost morning…

I lost the love of my life last night. We’d been together two years. It’s the right move for us, but it hurts so damn bad. The heart doesn’t want what the mind knows.
