A memory of a love that I lost, eighteen months of my life gone…it’s been nearly five months since it was all lost to me :’(

The first friend I made when I started college 2.5 hours away from my family took her own life the summer after I met her. It crushed me and haunts me and I wish I had been able to see something in her to help her. I miss her more than words can say.
