My grandpa just passed. I wrote this poem for him.

I can’t help but marvel over all the wonderful things that have been discovered over the past say 50 years that have really made our lives healthier, safer, and easier. But, I also can’t help but mourn the times ended, the more valuable things we have lost, let go, abandoned in the name of prosperity and I wonder if it has all been worth it, if these times ended haven’t cost us more than we’ve actually gained.

There should be balance between individuals. I, a chick, must have to be respected by an eagle.

Which way will it go?
