Pink lips smile…

Two trees talk…

The lotus blossom is a symbol of purity.

"I love the lotus because while growing from mud, it is unstained." ~ Confucian scholar Zhou Dunyi.

Maha Ashtami is the most auspicious day when Goddess Durga in full power. She is beautifully decorated with ornaments, flowers and aarti is performed with 108 oil lamps and prayed with 108 lotus.

Lotus smiles in mud…

Nature brings out beautiful products from what normal humans would consider as ugly spots. Life is always beautiful, provided one has the willingness to see the positive sides.

The lotus and lily ponds are beautiful to look at. However, it is safer to stay out of the water and enjoy the sight alone.
