I’m an insecure person with many downfalls. Most people say these aren’t true but that’s not what I say!

The worth of a woman
Now lost in the dessert’s sand…
The heart of woman buried
Six feet with the dead…
Can’t hold his eyes long enough for a stare
Its eyes stay wondering for treats
To hold down his glare…
Set on the shelf
Unless there a call for help…
Not enough to be a queen
Maybe enough to satisfy within its sheet
But not enough
Never enough to stop his heart from bleeding…

This poem is about what certain people–women ofcourse–think about when they don’t feel beautiful and unique. It gears towards people with low self-esteem and maybe those with a high one who can understand where others are coming from.

It is alarming to see Single Moms punishing themselves to grab their the then infatuated lover’s attention. Isn’t it time to move on, and focus on their growing children’s needs?
