A Magician’s Wit.

As the red curtains slowly rose upwards, the audience held their breaths in anticipation.

The magician’s unforeseen act.

The first stop on the Fool’s Journey.

Magic is real, you need to believe.

This is a poem about a new orleans street magician who supplements his meager income with pick pocketing.

That he place the morning says’ where is!

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he does not exist. Sometimes we are deliberately misled by others to believe they are our friends when secretly they intend to do us harm.

The end of The Magician line. Sometimes you have to let go of the things you want most, because they simply are not good for you.
