Some people still insist on not being able to understand that this condition is REAL and not some excuse for giving up…..With the right treatment however, and the right help, life can be bearable and even enjoyed, and some may even recover completely.

I am convinced more and more that this is truly a physical change in my brain chemistry, brought on by trauma, maybe unrealised, and maybe accompanied by situations that would get ANYBODY down, but some suffer a real physical reaction to these negative stimuli, and need physical help in the form of medication to re-balance the brain’s altered chemistry.
