This is a piece about a moment on the new jersey turnpike, during a storm. the clouds, however, do not reference themselves, but rather, constructed tanks in a field of factories.
upon first glance, I truly believed them to be clouds, but I kept looking and realized the truth that the forms held within their weighted mass.

Industrialization and urbanization has led much of us to forget about where we came from, where the primordial soup mix of life started; in nature. This poem does not glorify civilization, it rather describes it for what it is.
