The blazing fire that rises.

There are more martyrs from Punjab since pre-independence days as compared to the other states, thanks to the people’s undying patriotism and courage. Singh people (“Singh” rightly means “Lion” in Hindi) are truly courageous kings. They are pretty innovative too – who can think of churning huge amounts of lassi (milkshake) in washing machines which come with central stirrers!

Named as Punjab ("Panch" means "five" in Hindi) because it is the land of five rivers – Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej, and Beas – this is a beautiful state which also is the prime granary for the nation and its food-grain exports.
