I wrote this poem this year for a poetry project we had in my AP Literature & Composition class. I got the idea after remembering a certain event. I Facebooked a popular girl the day we got out for winter break, and I basically poured my heart out to her. How amazing she was, how pretty, and how thoughtful she was for actually trying to talk to me in class – no other girl of such high social class did.
She never replied. And she hasn’t talked to me since.
