Probably my darkest of poems about William BloodDagger, but it really shows what his thoughts are like. And when I say mask, I say it metaphorically.

Previously, Phil and his nephews, Dave and Brian, suddenly awoke in a futuristic factory of sorts. They had to rapidly come to terms with the fact that their whole Earthly life had been a complete deception. They escaped the factory and met up with a group of outsiders. The group leader Jim packed them off to the village while a raiding party tested out their escape route with a daring incursion. The factory was owned by Sligs, deadly aliens who had enslaved most of mankind.

In numerology…, numbers add up.

In Part One Phil suddenly “awakened” to find he I had spent his whole life attached to some sort of “Matrix”. His whole Earthly life was a lie. With his nephews, Dave and Brian, he now crawls along seemingly endless pipeways, seeking a way out of the “factory”. They reach an outlet but have to go back, and down, because it is blocked by metal bars. Their quest for freedom continues.
