I grew up in the ghetto part part of the city and my family was very poor. We lived in multiple shelters and every morning me and my siblings and my mom went to the Salvation Army to pick up food boxes or sack lunches.

I just wanted to say that there are many on here who have mentioned that they are not addicts and have everything under control.

Have been a drug user since age 14. Marijuana is legal where I live, so smoking was a part of everyday life from the start of high school.

I am 12 and when I was 11 I was addicted to marijuana ecstasy and cocaine.

I’m 16 and began smoking weed and drinking at the age of 14, I quickly got bored and have since moved on to cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, acid and speed. I would consume several ecstasy pills a night as it is very cheap where I live.

My family is full of delinquents and criminals. In my early teens I was the local community hockey star who earned gold medals, was seen on tv and in newspapers. That all took a turn when my uncle was stabbed to death trying to help a lady in distress.
