Turkey Haiku.

A story.

This is an email to my father. It’s unedited and was sent to him a few days ago. I decided to post it on here because I thought that someone might be able to learn something from it, as to what they may learn, I have no idea. There are a few swear words (oh no!), but most were not written by myself, and I feel if I edited them out it would cheapen it.

A few months ago, I accompanied my parents to the countryside with the aim of starting a chicken farm. I have to say I was excited with the idea of starting a small business but never did I ever fathom that this trip would change my perspective on a vegan diet forever.

Canned lunchmeat used to be one of the most notorious and cheapest meals one could buy in a store here in Slovakia. No more is this true. Nowaydays it is expensive, distasteful, extremely salty and half of it will dissolve on the frying pan long before the rest becomes edible. And that is when you are lucky.

The process of eating crab legs is more than a meal, it’s an experience.
