Answering questions about Metropolis.

There are films you want to see over and over again until you are saturated. The one of Fritz Lang "Metropolis" tells about the life of a future city. The city Metropolis is rather obsure and frigthening. You have the feeling that the population is not very human and that is one of the prejudice that some people have problem to go over.

In a modern world with modern people, not all is as it seems. In this city, you have to fend for yourself. This is no utopia…for anything and everything could go wrong. For you…for me…and the one Superhero that no one is even sure is really on the side of good.

Original poem from large series of cohesive poetry. I experimented with the “cut-up” literature method and repeated dialogue to create an ambient mixture of ideas. The overall theme is one of travel and moral value, but the composition itself is more significant than the surface atmosphere I’ve procured.
