I was hacked.

Loosely based around “The Deadmines” instance from World of Warcraft.
I’m only in year 10 and I wrote this for my GCSE coursework and thought I might share my work
It’s pretty poor but quite entertaining.

This poem is set to the tune of “I wish I was in Shore Bridge Now”, a chanty sung often at science fiction conventions and meetings of the Society for Creative Anachronism. This type of parody–science fiction or fantasy theme set to a familiar tune–is called “filk”. I’ve been writing filk for quite a while now; it is fun and is an opportunity to clean up fine, old tunes with a good rhythm with lyrics my grandchildren can enjoy.

I always thought Gielinor would die from a massive war, one many times more deadly than the God Wars of the Third Age. There would be a great battle, greater than any, where all the Gods would walk among us and fight beside their fractions. There would be a plague, slaughtering the forces from the inside. But the true judgment day was different.
