Story for little children

This is not my best short story on one page, but I haven’t had my morning coffee yet and I wrote this story first thing in the morning. Just so you know. I could have done better.

Seven of 50 haiku poems written on Friday, July 1, 2011 to document the day my husband had surgery. Each haiku deals with something that was around me that day from the time I left that morning until we were home and finally went to sleep.

A haiku inspired by the love and comfort I receive from my Mom.
