This is a short story, poem, or article…not sure how to classify I wrote in honor of both my Scottish and Native American heritage. It is a vision quest type storyline.

This is a poem about man’s inhumanity to man and Mother Earth. They don’t learn the lesson of the Biblical past and will never learn…ever!

The title speaks for itself.

Fractions, moments, seconds, minutes…
hours, days, weeks, months…a new year
wishes, flowers, cards, gifts, welcome notes, SMS, hugs, kisses…
among all these flashes…had we forget to remember …
some one as precious as our mother’s bless…

This poem is about storms and flowers for without the rain there would be no flowers or grass to sprout upon Mother Earth.
