How Chepi wished to be back home hunting for hares on the beautiful, soft snow that had existed all her life in the Northern America. Chepi hated this new wretched land that her clan walked through, it had clumps of snow covering the ground but there was so little that no animal would live in it. The weather and animals on this new land were just as weird. There were giant animals that looked like seals but were ferocious and bears were so big that one hide could made three shelters. She remembered when the clan had tried to hunt one of them but the bear was too quick. In one slash it killed three of the hunters ripping their bodies like they were sticks…..
