You know how traumatic it is? to suffer a miscarriage?
but then later it will make you emotionally strong and decisive of your being…

This was written at the memorial for the 5th year anniversary of 9/11/. Today is a blessing and all that happened after.

With the realization you will will never again be mine, my heart begins to break.

Look in-wards. If you think it’s going in vain, know that you’re going in-sane.

If we retreat from the world, where does the safety of the cocoon start and the numbness end?

Loss takes its toll on the heart.

We look to feel pain to know that we can still feel at all, as we search to find a cure for the itch – the hate that lies within us all.
