My first breath began the countdown for his visit. It’s actually my only countdown. There is no single second I did not wait for him. Before going to bed, I recite all my prayers for his coming. This waiting has been in alternating way. There are times I long for him not to come but those times turned to another sort of waiting. This aged more than two decades already. But I am still unsure if am ready to face him again up until this very moment. I am always hesitant to how he will come to visit me. I doubt if I have made him satisfied with my performances through the years. No matter how I try to live out what I have promised him, I could not stop from doubting.
