Came up with this after a discussion about children’s stories and christmas. It took me 15 mins on the loo to get the right order for each line!

A day in the garden.

A part story. It’s my first time writing in first person (I can’t put the ending up yet as it ended with an anticlimax – a really bad anticlimax!) It’s a bit dark in places but thats because this was a writing challenge I set for myself.
