This poem is a Non-Fiction piece about a girl who thought she was finally accepted to realize her whole world just came crashing down, she was raped by someone she never thought she could get hurt by, some one she only slightly knew but believe in. Then she is saved, by a hero, who fights for her freedom, with his red painted hands, he rescues her but doesn’t save her life, for she is forever stuck with the image and fear in her head.

The beginning of a whole, new lifestyle was marked by the presence of a Japanese sentry, shadowing the occupants of the bungalow and exercising his prerogative with abrupt orders and oppressive commands.
