Music and dancing is a part of the culture of Burma. Ritual melodies and dancing continue for hours, generally organized by wealthy members of the community.

I fell in love with a boy who I knew would break my heart, yet, I couldn’t turn him away. I ached for him while he ached for another. I wrote this poem while sitting across the room from him, watching him reminisce about a love he couldn’t forget. Every time I read these words, I am instantly back to that day, to that point in time, and I could feel the pain all over again. I’m paralyzed.

How one person, a girl can ruin everything. and how the girl who didn’t wanna get in between, and get hurt. still gets hurt and left alone in the dark.
