I brought you some flowers today. I’m sure you will like them. I know how you like perennials so I got you some bright yellow Asiatic lilies. I thought the color would cheer the place up a little, but as I placed them in the ground and brought them some water, I realized how difficult it is to bring cheer to such a place as this.
