To get myself started I am posting a paper I wrote in college.

As a person who was a victim of abuse growing up I think it very important to share this. There are signs of abuse if a person looks hard enough, and there are also solutions.

As an editor, you have to check if what is written is coherent. You have to have proof of what you are supporting. That is why information is very important as well as the sources.

A gun is no fun. It can be used as a defense against abuse. Like everything else it can fall into wrong hands but there are laws that help prevent this from happening.

It’s always a sad time when a person dies. It’s sad when someone young dies or someone dies before ther time. But when someone dies by the hands of the person they are in a relationship with, it’s even sadder. Nobody should die or even get beat up by someone that says they loved that person.

It’s really sad there are people who get beat up to the point of no return in their relationship. No person should beat up or harm in any way the person they say they love and care about. Physical abuse is not good.

I am questioning the choices I’ve made in later life. Almost mourning for what once was, but never truly had a chance. My naivete. Trust, shattered. It never mattered.
