One can keep watching for days when the kingfishers decide to hover or sit on perches blankly staring at the waters, and suddenly diving into the pools to come back with their catch.

This is my first haiku. This is not quite my favourite poetic form but hey… Saw one discussed on the Triond Forum so thought I’d give it a go. Cannot tell you what it means of course. Am typing this to meet the minimum word requirement. God Bless You All.

Losing you was horrendous.

Sometimes life is funny and throws you what you wanted most in your life.But then just as fast decides you dont need it and snatches it cruelly away.You can only cry for so long before you have to pick up the pieces.Put on a smile and go onto a new phase in life that isn’t what you wanted but will do in a pinch.Survival instincts takes over and that is the adrenalin that drives you when you don’t feel you can go on.

The light can be bright if the lover is right.

Each night I lay with you, I feel the need to repent.

A dying child breaks your heart like nothing else can. They are so innocent and have barely live their life.
