When people give advice they are trying to do the right thing by you.

Time waits for no man. It is forever on the wing, under all circumstances. It is the one and only yardstick with which youth and age are measured.

This is a poem I wrote when I was 10years old at school. We had a poetry competition and I won, the prize was it got published in a childrens poetry book. This was the first poem I ever wrote and many more followed. Please leave comments telling me what you think. It would be appreciated.

Women in many countries of the world are condemned to a life of near-slavery by men who think that there should be no equality between the sexes. The problem is most prevalent in Arab counries where sectarianism is dominant. Recently, in Afghanistan, a woman was whipped for innocently walking with a man, a punishment that can be termed as the outcropping of ignorance.

The time was July 24, 1872 in the wake of night as a lighthouse on the shores of Portland, Maine remembered.

Poem describing a stormy sea.

This is a song I wrote and sang to my wife on the night that I proposed to her. It made her cry, and then I reached into the Christmas Tree and pulled out the ring, got down on my knee, and asked her to marry me. What a feeling I had when she said yes. This song is true to this day.
