Life is good, sooo good.

A poem of feeling blue but seeing past the gloom.

A poem I wrote this past winter for an English assignment. The assignment was to create a form of art showing others a personal war that took place or was on-going in your life. At first, it was a concrete poem. My mother’s stanza was in the shape of a straw, while my father’s was in the shape of a martini glass. (her death was a large contributor to his alcoholism) I hope this poem inspires others to create their own "parents" poem of sorts.

A poem about the longing one soul feels as it awaits the return of its’ one perfect match.
