The fun thing about cocktail parties is that you have to bring your official spouse and that is fair for everybody. The other thing is that your spouse does not have to be absent to the cocktail party without any reason because that can make a diplomatic crisis. Members of the family are sometimes admited to the party and it depends on how they are known for example they have to make their name for example in the American tradition when someone calls you by your first name it is because you are appreciated.

Someone is there to guide you when you arrive in a country you do not know. You can make friends wherever you go thanks to the Convention of Vienna which has allowed embassies to be opened in many countries. You can also meet with refugees who can tell you about what they think about their countries of origin and how they were happy before things went wrong thanks to the Convention of Geneva.

Inspired by a discussion I had with a friend. We discussed his religion and his fear of how God might recieve him when he dies. We discussed death and what it would be like to die, but I imagine it would not be so bad. He, too, is not so concerned, his fears lie only in what how his God will see him.
It is an interesting thought.

When you are invited to a reception or cocktail party you receive a card to let you in the party. So, if you have lost it you better know your hosts. Some people exchange visiting cards to stay in touch and work together.

Easter is over. The painted eggs were so delicious with the chocolate around them. The children had a good time.

This was our last wedding to attend for the year 2009. Nephew Mike was married to his beautiful fiancee Lissette on New Years Eve. It was a joyous ocassion and we all had a delightful time. The Latino String Band was the greatest and when they broke into "Fire on the Mountain" the crowd went wild.It was the best way possible to send out the old year and bring the new one in.
