Maybe a little forced by the rhymes, but it’s the first poem I’ve finished in months so it’s better than nothing.

Lost in confusion, but now, so grateful.

This is a continuation of two other poems about the death and rebirth of the daughter, Tara, of a friend of mine. She died of anoxia and was revived, the slow process of recovery began.

Trapped in addiction, following the 12 steps to break free.

I have learned life the hard way.

This is a poem about someone who has tolerated abuse because it’s been normal since childhood, and now they are realizing it’s not ok.
