Destruction is always followed by renewal.

Updating my music collection recently I was struck by the number of song titles referring to “heart”

What is it that we look for in this life but that of something pure and good that we may dwell in it as if it were our own.

I’m Sorry such a Sorry word such a Sorry thought…
I always guard my mouth my words so I need not be Sorry
I don’t break hearts, I don’t fix hearts; I didn’t break
My Fake best friend always neglected Christmas, my Birthday,
Valentine and Anniversaries, not one Card, Gift or Call in 16 years
That’s not what best friends are for…
Long distance was always the excuse that breeds more excuses.

I was given a prompt. A picture of a beautiful mansion….standing on flooded ground. The picture grabbed my attention, pulled me in and the story came. A story told of a man who’d been gone to long, and hope that he wasn’t to late to make things right.
