My 21st birthday is approaching in a matter of weeks, and this is a reflection I wrote about what I have learned, because five years ago before I turned 16, I was so depressed I was contemplating suicide on this same day five years back.

This tells it how it is, hopefuly it will change with the changing times. To drive in this city you have to be very alert and aware of every movement around you, others just go full speed ahead and it costs lives.

You are responsible for your own life.

You can’t back out of this.

There is nothing to contend.

It is time to start growing up.

Your life may depend on the life of many other people but you choose who to accept or listen to and who not to heed to. At the end of the day, you reap results of the actions you took. Do what you have to do being guided by God and do not focuses on what others want you to do. It is your life you are making or living. Watch it!
