This poetic ballad is a take off from the famed Hatfield & McCoy family clans so well known for their “feudin” and “fussin” in the back country of West Virgin during the late 1800’s. The real purpose of this writing is to expose, in a somewhat comical fashion, the tragedies of domestic violence and the lasting consequences of such actions. Killing one’s own family member could be a very real consequence of fighting against your own. Be careful not to do so.
