Rosa Parks.

In 1955, in the United States there was still segregation on the buses. Rosa Parks was arrested on the first day of December for nor vacating her seat so a white man could ride in her place. Her actions would become a milestone in the civil rights movement across the nation.

Another look into what has happened on this day in the past, historical events of note, famous birthdays or any other points of interest that have occurred on this day.

This sequel to "Chloe’s Bus", describes a Maoist society and its peculiar hair-splitting ideas for bus seat allotment. Loganberry Municipality’s answer to how people who wear plaid can take the bus is not satisfactory for everyone. Bus service still remains questionable for individuals throughout the city for those who choose to wear prints, polka dots or striped attire. Some state that assigning buses according to garment clothing is a preposterous notion altogether. However, the Loganberry Municipality bus system remains color-coded.

..This is just a little poem –a tribute to Rosa Parks that I wrote last year, either at the anniversry of her death or the anniversary of the boycott by the Montgomery, Alabama Improvement Association. Sorry, but I don’t know which.. Anyway, I was cleaning out my "documents " file and saw it in there and thought perhaps some viewers on Triond.com might be interested in checking it out.
