Greenland is in the Northern part of the world, above Canada. It looks like a big Isle. Greenland used a territory of Denmark, which is part of the Scandinavian countries.

December 13 is Santa Lucy’s Day which is celebrated as a feast in the Scandinavian countries where it originated from and in the United States of America. It is an occasion to celebrate the winter solstice. It is the longest night.

I tried my hand at writing a viking poem, their beliefs in Valhalla is very interesting and it makes for great story material. Here’s what I have now:

Ursula is the name of a famous actress Ursula Andres. Ursula sounds like a Scandinavian name. It is in Scandinavia that the scanner was invented.
