A little something I wrote when mourning for the loss of a good friend. Words started to just flow from my hands and I had to write it down in one sitting.

There are little moments, and moments that burst with laughter and memories.

We have those months, years, where so many things happen and it just changes our life. Sometimes they are just memories, and nothing more than that…

Why have we all heard this expression? Why is it so powerful?

Sometimes you may face shocking tests. It may hurt you really hard. You think you are ruined. But finally you realize, you somehow get over it and you are still alive.

The Cavalier poets of the 17th century, supported King Charles I during the English Civil War. Their attitude towards life is revealed in three significant words “seize the day” (“carpe diem”).

Seize the day.

Some people wait their lives for a special moment,
or save things for a special occasion.
Let your "special occasion" be every breathe you take;
every new day you awaken and are blessed to be alive.
