A mullato friend of mine sent me this Food for Thought that he penned about his feelings and growing up in the seventies in a society where the impacts of Slavery and Racism were very intense especially in rural Jamaica. He migrated to the United States where he went from being the Brown skin man in Jamaica to the Black man in Florida.
