In search of one’s self-worth.

If no one ever tells you that they believe in you that’s alright because it is more important that you believe in yourself. believing in yourself will generate more promises for you.

A sonnet about love and self worth.

I have read many articles over the past few weeks about women undergoing surgery or taking injections because they desire to change their looks. Some believe in order to "be beautiful", you must appear like the celebrities on the red carpet. We must teach our girls to appreciate their own beauty, so when they become women, they can hold their heads up high! Don’t change for anyone.

Something To Think About.

Tanka is a japanese style of poetry, closely related to haiku. It’s form is five lines, the syllable count is 5-7-5-7-7, but each line must be a complete thought. My last post was on self-esteem and beauty. This tanka is not about vanity, but for all who know their self-worth.

Sometimes our biggest struggle is within. With our own thoughts. With our ego. When we learn to let it go, it opens up a whole new world of possibility.
