This is one of several poems written in an abstract style about very specific moments that I have encountered which were charged with sensory stimuli. the spacing serves as a visual element, which is very important to me as a visual artist. The spacing also serves as a literal depiction of how one would read the piece: the longer the space, the longer the pause.

The connections that we make in our lives are always fleeting. We must learn to cope with any kind of loss.
