Never settle for second best, it’s not fair to you and it’s not fair to them…

Settling for love, "giving up on half-empty glasses," welcoming the love of your life into your heart and life. Willingness to sacrifice and to love and to, like the bird, settle him/her into the nook upon your chest.

This is a poetic inspirational piece written to encourage people to see that there is more to life than just getting by. It is offered to help inspire people to fully embrace the life they have been given.

You have to wonder what some people’s motives are sometimes.

In class, my teacher gave me the line “when the dust settles…” and from there on I would write something that was inspired from that line.

As a society, we have been taught to settle on just about everything. But why settle?

Sometimes you just want something more for yourself.

Trying to make life altering decisions about job, home, and relationships.
To settle for the familiar or charge for the unknown.

On being used, and going back to the person who used you.
