[poem] How much should we protect and provide for our children in this day and age? Do we do too much… or not enough?

I am awestruck feasting my eyes on trees that have survived the onslaught of time and the inclemency of raging storms, with their strong roots embedded in the bowels of the earth, a phenomenon, signifying one of the wonders of Nature.

This world can often seem so cruel and angry.

In your arms is where I long to be.

The sweet lull of eternal slumber.
