A short poem.

I am aware that this may not flow, I wrote it while listening to a beat but not necessarily to the beat. This was simply my way of venting emotion, even though it is NOWHERE near my best. Keep this in mind, this to me is more of a creative writing piece than a poem or a rap.

How the story "She Said Yes" impacted my life.

I clamp my two moist hands over the microphone, like holding my life into it. As I start to speak, the words juggle inside my throat that gives a falsetto note. Truly, I feel my bones and flesh are falling apart!

A daylight crime takes place….

As a keen observer of times and seasons, I believe that we may have just flipped a new page in history through the recent tragedy in Arizona. Nine-year old Christina Green, a victim of the recent Tucson shooting became the providential seed of a new democracy, by a new generation, for a new people. Her death is a symbolic transfer of the baton to fresh minds and ideals in the race towards the restoration of the glory of a nation in transition.

The only one who died was the gunman.

This was written about someone that is very close to me and how even though I had so much love for them I would never realize they had none for me.

The photographs like to shoot pictures. The doctors like to shoot you to vaccinate against diseases. You do not have to shoot someone to harm that is the secret of a good army person.
