This poem I wrote for abused women, who you see in the world all too often staying with the men that abuse them because they are so controlled by that person they believe they love them.

I like it when I sink.

You can be reassured when placing your head upon the pillow – others pick up your cares for you.

My heart is in good hands.

Sleepless in Maine.
