Pieter pan, sadness, oain,down,sinking.

If it takes a village to raise a child, the same principle applies when it comes to adulthood.

Nobody likes to sink down into the clutches of sadness.

The Empress of Ireland is almost a forgotten one. Overshadowed perhaps by the sinking of the Titanic, or because it is a Canadian disaster or by the start of World War 1, the story of the sinking seems to be alive only in dusty history books.

A fiction story about my experience of the Titanic sinking.

A remembrance.

Magnets too close to my compass scrambled north.

No pail for bailing,

Sinking,

flailing.

Engine flooded.

Troubled thoughts that whistle round like the wind.

Drowned sign saying,

‘Keep this way up!’

Having someone that is the focus of your affection can be very hurtful if it isn’t returned. It can also be mind boggling trying to figure out what to do if that person doesn’t even know you are alive. A lot of sleepless nights go by thinking and weeping not knowing what to do.
