10 of 50 haiku poems written on Friday, July 1, 2011 to document the day my husband had surgery. Each haiku deals with something that was around me that day from the time I left that morning until we were home and finally went to sleep.

It is not just important to get out of bed every dawn, but must do it with a useful purpose. Planning for the day is a humble way to move towards great achievements.
