Snow, cold, and a frozen brain…

A small love poem.

Dealing with occasional insomnia is not a big deal, but four months of this sleepless nightmare is unbearable. I jumped out of bed at three in the morning to start writing this. Unfortunately, I am so sleep deprived it took me two days to write, ridiculous!

We spend what seems like a lifetime looking for our soul mate, and sometimes they are right in front of us.

Short and sweet.

Baby animals, and bird chicks, too, love to be snuggled by their parents. And so it was that a baby leopard, probably having lost its parents, strayed into our hut and snoozed with us on our bare reed mat. For the superstitious villagers, this was a bad omen.

This would be a dream come true.

I wrote this a few days ago; unfortunately it isn’t about me. Dancing definitely isn’t one of my strong suits.
