This story I hope to become a short book iz inspired by the relationship I have with my soldier boyfriend…Hope u enjoy it I will have more to the story soon.

Nika G is the nickname of a very important person in my life. I wrote this poem for her.

This is a story of a man who wanted to be a great soldier but he faced so many challenges because he was unfortunate to have two hands. The story goes around all the hurdles he faced without accepting pity from anyone else except his sister.

A Memorial Day haiku.

In honor of Memorial Day.

5/27/2012.

My father was ex-army & ex-coast guard, my grandpa a naval officer on the U.S.S Kittyhawk & U.S.S Constantine, & my uncle a army reserve officer. This is my salute to men who served then & still serve for us now. The day they rest as a K.I.A, will grow old & die with the memories of their friends & family who were K.I.A along side them on a blood trenched battlefield, or will die knowing they are serving their country. My salute to all who have shed blood for our freedoms & those who will.
