A poem about personal heartache.

Wrote this for my high school.

There is no other way, but I do not want to go.

Just a poem written by me. A poem called: You cannot be saved.

Broken you stand in the darkness.
Tears are running down your face.
Tears are dropping on the cold stone floor.
You will forget the days when only sunshine posessed your delicate soul….

You knew there was no hope.

Letting go of something you love.

Acceptance of reality in an imagined state of mind.

AUTHOR’S NOTE

This was written spur of the moment in response to a post on one of the group sites that I belong to on Father’s Day of this year. I have had very good responses from those few that I have chosen to share it with, and it was suggested by a few of them that I might want to share it with others. But I am a somewhat unschooled writer. I write by inspiration alone, inspired by events and people around me, or, as was the case with this story, by something that I have read or heard or even by a random thread of memory. I do not go seeking the words by choice, they simply come of their own accord.

This poem is describing what I feel and how I am treated generally. This is a very vague poem however. It may take a while to understand.
