Josh saw a speck in his eye as a potential problem which he felt could lead to blindness. He believed so because his father and uncles were blind at a young age. Josh’s doctors however reassured him that this speck was only a floater and nothing serious.

Miles to go before I sleep… seems to be the theme of this poem.

Fear of the self. The self is a reflection of the truth which, ironically, is what the writer is afraid of facing.

Just a poem I thought up.

Sometimes aesthetic “flaws” are not so bad.

Through the darkness, far, far ahead, I see a speck of light. Trekking alone with eagerness to reach what’s in my sight.
